While I specialize primarily in weddings, I also offer floral design for events and creative projects. I’ve had the joy of flowering for 35+ couples, as well as clients like the NBA, Pacers, Fever, Abercrombie and Fitch, and the Indianapolis Repertory Theater. I love flowering for weddings and events oriented around deep and rich beauty, centering art and culture. Hell yes!! If you take a look at my portfolio, you’ll see that I’ve worked with many different clients. I specifically love collaborations when they’re equitable, produce beauty, and center black and brown women as primary artists.

I recommend booking as soon as possible. Clients I work with tend to book 9-12 months prior to their event at minimum.

First - Congrats on getting married! We’ll go through a process of consultation, proposal review, contract signing, welcome phase, and production. I work with a variety of local wholesalers and farms during the warmer months, and primarily source from the New York Flower Group (NYFG) for specialty blooms (which I specialize in!). Fun fact: I pick up most blooms from the airport after the NYFG ships them to Indy! They are a fabulous partner and offer a wide variety of fresh blooms straight from places like Japan, Columbia, Ecuador, and the Netherlands.

My pricing structure is highly customizable. Pricing is incredibly dependent on several factors including flower type, vessels, travel time, size of elements, density of blooms, hiring a team for day-of design, etc. By investing with Frida’s Flowers, you’re investing in a full-service experience with a team of experts in florals, from set up to tear down, consultation to execution. You’re not just paying for the flowers: you’re paying for all of the in-between-things that take flowers from the literal ground to full fledged design. This investment allows for ease of mind, clarity and certainty that you’ll be receiving a high-quality, detailed design experience, and ensures your guests will be in awe of your blooms. Hiring me means hiring me for “x” amount of months (from initial inquiry to day-of tear down), and includes all design meetings, endless communication, and customized florals that are truly unique to you. It is a signifcant and worthwhile investment.

For weddings and events, while I do have minimums (see inquiry forms), I am happy to work with clients on a case by case basis to determine the best path forward for both you and me (payment plans, structures, forms, etc). Typically I require a 50% retainer fee upon contract signing, no matter how large or small the event. If your event is less than a month away and you book last minute, I require full payment upon contract signing. Finances should not be a barrier to you working with me, and I am open to finding creative pricing options that are realistic and supportive for Frida’s Flowers while honoring your needs. Yes, I do! My team and I will provide full service delivery, set up, and tear down. This includes setting up all elements as agreed upon between us, as well as tear down at the end of your event. This service does come with a higher investment and is well worth it for couples / event planners who want a hassle-free experience.
