SPORTS AND FLOWERS as an art are not commonly integrated… which is why it’s absolutely baller to design floral art with soccer balls and basketballs as vases.

THINGS CAN GO TOGETHER THAT DO NOT NORMALLY GO TOGETHER BECAUSE OF SOCIETAL NORMS… yes, this is a commentary and challenge to expand our perspectives around what’s possible for our communities.

What about the functionality? Will the flowers live long enough? What about this, that, and the third?

What if the story this marriage of sports and florals tells outweighs those risks?

Art is always vulnerable. Especially when the mediums have historically been separated because they are just too different from one another. And, art is always rewarding when it is integrated well. It takes practice, practice, practice, to skillfully integrate art mediums… because art always tells a story, and stories are sacred, so therefore the integration of art mediums is sacred and calls to be done well.

When our stories merge together with the stories of others it is sacred. Just like it is sacred to bring together the art of sport and the art of flowers to tell a new story.
